1. Who we are and what this is
GoodnessBridge is a protocol that lets people and businesses suspend real goods so that verified people in need can receive them with dignity. The service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are an intermediary and operator of the matching, verification, and fulfillment layer. We are not a bank, a lender, a charity solicitor of cash gifts to individuals, or a marketplace that transfers money to individuals.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to hold an account. Accounts for anyone under 18 are not permitted; minors may only be helped through an institutional or guardian bridge under our Safeguarding rules. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. The core promises (binding on us and on you)
- •No cash to individuals. All value is in-kind or paid to a seller/provider.
- •Privacy by default. A Recipient is never publicly listed. Identity/address opens only under Graduated Visibility with the Recipient's consent, for a limited time.
- •Separated lanes. Contributions are applied to the lane you choose; we do not silently divert them. The only permitted cross-flow is Lane E → Lane C (default) and, at your option, Lane E → Lane F.
- •No hidden cut. Fees and any commission ranges are disclosed. We do not skim the emergency fund; provider fees for Lane F are borne by Lane C.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: request or offer cash; harass, pressure, or shame any person; attempt to identify, contact outside the platform, retain, or visit a Recipient's address; submit false verification data; use the platform for any illegal purpose, or to suspend or request restricted goods (alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, prescription-only items outside the emergency-provider flow, adult content). Free-text messaging between parties is disabled by design; you will use the provided templates.
5. Verification and risk
Access to higher-value goods requires higher verification tiers. We may flag activity for human review using risk signals. We do not auto-reject a person by machine; a human reviews before any adverse decision. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, with an internal appeal path.
6. Money, payments, and taxes
The Platform never holds, pools, or custodies money given to a Recipient. All giving is fulfilled in goods or paid directly to a seller or provider — never as cash to a person.
Kumbara (one-time) and subscriptionsare voluntary contributions to support the Platform's own operation — hosting, verification, moderation. They are a contribution to the service's running costs, not charitable donations, and no charitable-donation receipt is issued for them. They are processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store full card data.
Emergency help is provided as goods or paid directly to the provider (a bill, medicine, or a ticket). The Platform does not collect, hold, or custody an emergency fund.
Affiliate commissionscome from merchants' marketing budgets at no extra cost to you and are not donations; no donation receipt is issued for them. Tax treatment of any payment depends on your jurisdiction; this is not tax advice.
7. No guarantee of match
Suspending a good or opening a request does not guarantee a specific match or timing. We operate on a best-effort, priority-based basis, prioritizing first-time Recipients.
8. Content and reviews
Post-fulfillment reviews are template-based. Reports of "money requested" or "humiliation" open a moderation case within 24 hours and may result in removal from the network.
9. Liability
The Platform facilitates connections and fulfillment but is not the manufacturer or seller of suspended goods and is not a party to the underlying purchase. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, safety, or fitness of third-party goods/services, or for the acts of users. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
10. Suspension, termination, changes
We may modify these Terms with notice. Material changes take effect after a reasonable notice period. You may close your account at any time; certain records are retained as required by law and for audit.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes are subject to [COURTS / ADR]. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence are unaffected.
