THE PROTOCOL
How a suspended good becomes real help
Two people never meet, no cash changes hands, and no one has to tell their story in public. Here's the exact path a good travels — from the moment it's suspended to the moment it quietly reaches someone.
- 1
Suspend
A business or a person suspends a real good: a warm meal, a grocery basket, a school set, a winter coat. In-store, a customer can add one at checkout; online, a partner store can attach one to an order. Every suspended good becomes a live count on the map — never a person, always a product.
Under the hood — The good enters a single stock ledger. What you see on the map is the real remaining quantity, refreshed continuously.
- 2
Request, privately
Someone who needs help opens a private request. No public need card, no photo, no story for strangers to scroll. At this first stage we don't ask for an address, ID, or documents.
Under the hood — The request goes to an operator queue, not a public feed. Identity stays sealed until the person themselves chooses to open it.
- 3
Match
Operators — and, where a business is involved, the partner — match a request to a suspended good by category, area, and priority. First-time recipients are always prioritized: the person reaching out for the first time is usually the most anxious and least likely to ask twice.
Under the hood — Matching is rule-based and logged, so every match can be explained afterward. Software flags possible abuse; a human makes the call.
- 4
Fulfill
The good is handed over with dignity: a code at the counter, an open shelf, a pickup point, or — when a person consents — a delivery. Payment always goes to the seller or provider, never to the person. For bills and emergencies, we pay the utility, pharmacy, or carrier directly.
Under the hood — Identity and address, if needed at all, open only to the single person fulfilling that specific good, for a limited time, then close. A masked pickup option lets a person receive help without revealing where they live.
- 5
Close the loop
The recipient confirms with a chosen template — a thank-you, a blessing — never a free-text channel that could be misused. Over time, many recipients quietly become givers. Saying “I don't need help anymore” is treated as the most prestigious moment on the platform.
Under the hood — Every handover ends with a structured review. If someone reports being asked for money or made to feel small, that opens a moderation case within 24 hours.
HOW IT WORKS
How a suspended good becomes real help
Two people never meet directly. A private request and a real suspended good are brought together by an operator and fulfilled by a verified local partner.
Someone says: I need help with groceries this week.
A calm, private form: tell us safely what you need.
Nothing yet - requests are never shown to supporters.
Receives the request into a private review queue.
Name, story, and contact details are never published.
